The problem seem to be that the position of the docking station has change on the map from my living room to my bedroom (other side of the apartment). A few days ago it started acting funny and wasnt cleaning, it would say positioning and go in circles. Below is what happens when I attach the mop: 1.) The robot cannot leave the dock on its own, I have to gently nudge the robot backwards physically so it can leave the dock. (this now in the front room) In the app, tap on Dock for the vacuum to find and recognise it. All i did was, place the vacuum on the dock or place it near the dock. S5Max couldnt find the dock and still thinks its in living room. ![]() However, last night I ran my first scheduled nightly cleaning (the kitchen only) and I was surprised to find out in the morning that it failed to reach the kitchen zone and also it messed up the entire map. Placed the dock in Living room, then decided to move to the front room due to its real estate. I have my whole apartment (one floor) mapped out and all the rooms divided neatly and with no-mopping zones in the right places to cover expensive carpets etc. Put it at some distance in front of the dock and press the Home button on it. Just recently got my first roborock (s6 maxV) and I'm generally very happy with it so far. Lastly if still nothing, place the robot in the room it thinks the dock is in, and then press the dock button, it should keep looking for it, once realises its not there it will go foot by foot looking for it. If the charging dock is too far away, it may not be able to return to recharge and must be placed on the charging dock manually. ![]()
